Welcome to our Walsden Nursery

Blossoms Nursery Walsden is our new and highly impressive site. It is a purpose designed single storey building in which we work hard to deliver a balanced curriculum that values every child as an individual. Through free play and structured activities, both indoors and outdoors, we offer children opportunities to learn and make sense of the world around them in a fun and educational manner.

The children's development in this rich environment is successfully channelled by our highly qualified staff, who have been specifically selected for their ability to care for and nurture for each individual child. 

Children are catered for in individual rooms that are relevant and resourced to the children’s age and stage of development. Each room is suitably equipped with resources to help the children achieve their full potential.

The nursery also offers a purpose designed “Messy play Area” A specially designed room for children to experience sand, water, natural materials and painting activities. Children can develop their creative and social skills in both individual and small group activities. There is also an integral “picture gallery” for the children to display their individual masterpieces.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme, which is developed flexibly to meet individual needs of the child and their family. Through these visits we use this opportunity for parents and children to meet the staff, share information and observe the daily life of the nursery. We also encourage a strong partnership between home and nursery and parents input is always highly valued. Each child is assigned a key worker who works with both you and your child to ensure a shared understanding. Parents are welcome at all times to the nursery and staff are always available to discuss any queries that you may have.
